About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Software QA Tester to help ensure that applications and digital products work reliably before release. You will collaborate with developers and project teams to test features, identify defects, document findings, and support improvements to software quality. This role is suitable for candidates who enjoy problem-solving and want to develop a career in software testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Test websites, applications, and software features against requirements.
- Identify, reproduce, and document bugs or unexpected behavior.
- Prepare test cases and checklists for new functionality.
- Perform regression testing after software updates.
- Record test results and communicate findings to developers.
- Verify that reported defects have been resolved correctly.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss quality improvements.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Basic understanding of software testing principles.
- Ability to follow instructions and document issues clearly.
- Familiarity with web applications and common browsers.
- Basic computer skills and confidence using digital tools.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of SQL, API testing, or test management tools is an advantage but not essential.
